Happy Days indeed :)

Sat. 11/8/08 10:09am From: DeemerDave

Happy days? Heading into a deep recession, the heavy tax dems are in power. What's so happy about that?

Oh yeah! The skin color of our next president is darker than every other president. That makes up for it.

Sat. 11/8/08 10:10am From: Michael

Dave - I feel sorry for you

Sat. 11/8/08 10:10am From: SmokinJ

Ditto

Sat. 11/8/08 10:11am From: Different Background

hey Michael - great show as always. Kudos on Chris Difford interview. By the way your text and background colors make it very difficult to read your playlist and comments.

Sat. 11/8/08 10:12am From: Socratis

Hey You, dave, if you are not happy in a yellow submarine today you better forget of being happy tomorrow.....

Sat. 11/8/08 10:12am From: SmokinJ

Actually MS, the BLACK & WHITE color scheme was the best :)

Sat. 11/8/08 10:13am From: DeemerDave

Please don't. We're all in the same boat whether you realize it or not.

BTW, I'm very excited about the Difford interview.

Sat. 11/8/08 10:16am From: Soul_Man

Actually Dave, the boat you're rowing sank long ago. Just go back to Rush on AM talk and leave us be.

Sat. 11/8/08 10:16am From: Jackson

I can read it just fine

Sat. 11/8/08 10:36am From: DeemerDave

But Michael, It's important for the public's health. Schools are a major factor in the spread of the flu. It seems like an important thing to do. I wish my state did it.

Sat. 11/8/08 10:47am From: ~L

Hi,
Go to njvaccinationchoice.org for more information Flu shots previously have never been recommended for children under five. (The NJ drug companies are hurting for cash, and this is how the get it, through legislating vaccines for babies.) If you have a knowledgeable pediatrician, you can have them write you a waiver letter of "Medical postponement" which "postpones" any vaccination to the future. Schools have to accept these letters. Even if your MD won't write the letter, you can say you want to wait til she is older and stronger, before any vaccines are given, and then look for another MD. Vaccines contain ingredients, like formaldehyde, that have no place in any one's baby.

Sat. 11/8/08 10:57am From: SmokinJ

Great tune from Mr. Torrence and Mr. Berry!

Sat. 11/8/08 11:04am From: SmokinJ

Michael: That Brian Wilson spot really DOES pop!

Sat. 11/8/08 11:16am From: Bad Ronald

What about something w/Chris doing lead vox? - like Strong in reason or cool for cats or heaven or...

Sat. 11/8/08 11:18am From: Bad Ronald

Ah, this is nice... thanks!

Sat. 11/8/08 11:20am From: Paul

Was Paul Carrack in the early or later years of Squeeze?

Sat. 11/8/08 11:22am From: Bad Ronald

later

Sat. 11/8/08 11:23am From: Bad Ronald

Jools Holland was the first keyboard

Sat. 11/8/08 11:23am From: Paul

Thanks. That's what I thought.

Sat. 11/8/08 11:23am From: Michael

Was in the band twice. 1982ish & 1992ish

Sat. 11/8/08 11:25am From: Paul

I saw Carrack with Nick Lowe (singing right now) around 1982.

Sat. 11/8/08 11:25am From: Bad Ronald

Very jealous Paul - I flip over Rockpile! (ESP Basher!~)

Sat. 11/8/08 11:26am From: J

I'm pretty sure Dave Edmunds sings that song

Sat. 11/8/08 11:27am From: Paul

Never got to see Rockpile....but Lowe and Edmunds still come to Chicago (not together, of course). I think you're right, J.

Sat. 11/8/08 11:28am From: Bad Ronald

I thinks the lead's doubled...

Sat. 11/8/08 11:35am From: Parq

Glad I'm in time for the interview, but ditto on how hard it is to read the pearl-grey-on-yellow color scheme.

And D-Dave, I can understand your frustration with the prospect of a semi-liberal dem presidency. After all, eight years of far-right rule has been *so* successful and left the country in *such* good shape.

Sat. 11/8/08 11:41am From: paulthepostman

Hi Micheal, am enjoying the show immensley and hi Cliff Difford, good luck with Everything and am looking forward to catching up with The New Sqeeze! Cliff, very much by the byway, does this particular SE London inscription ring any bells ......"A False Weight is an Abomination to the Lord, But a True Weight is His Delight......?!!!"

Sat. 11/8/08 11:42am From: Bad Ronald

I totally dig "Sex Master"...

Any dirt on EC?

Sat. 11/8/08 11:47am From: Bad Ronald

OUCH!!! - 50%

Sat. 11/8/08 11:51am From: Parq

"Undertakers of the industry"

Sat. 11/8/08 12:03pm From: Paul

Parq....that was actually 4 decades ago if you can believe it.

Sat. 11/8/08 12:09pm From: Bad Ronald

Absolutely, thank you both!!!

Sat. 11/8/08 12:12pm From: paulthepostman

Sat. 11/8/08 12:14pm From: Bad Ronald

No fuckin' way! That rules! Any surplus laying around like "I'm drinking for Wreckless Eric"?

Sat. 11/8/08 12:22pm From: paulthepostman

Hah, caught an RE interview via the archives a little while back and, yeah, he's still quite a force to be reckoned with.

Sat. 11/8/08 12:31pm From: paulthepostman

Michael, any chance you can gently wash some lilac, pink and pale green hues over this grey text, occasionaly?

Sat. 11/8/08 12:37pm From: paulthepostman

gramma corrections: 'WE' and 'occasionally'
