Since the houseing bubbles collapse was the root cause of the current "crisis" the logical alternate plan would be to use some of that money to help pay down the mortgages on the 1.3 million homes that are in forclosure right now because of the collapse.

There were alot of good alternate ideas that would've done alot more good than buying up shitty assests to keep the rich from being slightly less rich.

Theres also better ideas as to where to get the money rather than borrowing against future tax dollars. Like get the rich guys to sell 2 or 3 of their vacation homes.
