Playlist for Bryce - October 3, 2008

Fridays Noon - 3pm on WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

I sure do. To understand why, look at virtually any other non-profit radio station's web site. Note the sensible layout, the useful features? Me neither.

From a web piece on work that includes B.P.'s:

"Ultimately, these films are as unalike to Hollywood cinemanure as is the elusive octopus to a fecal-obsessive orangutan."

Fri. 10/3/08 12:44pm From: Hugo

raga: If I was a user of the term "lol" I'd use it now. But I sure ain't such a one. And I think the common user, in this space during these tracks, would be karmically and cognitively scorched somehow.

Fri. 10/3/08 12:48pm From: raga

apparently yes, radulescu bought it:

Fri. 10/3/08 1:46pm From: bryce

ken!! sorry, missed you way up there.

yeah, the first 4 things ARE available (w/other stuff) on 3" CDs at Mimaroglu. do a label search for "the new england electric music company."

the 5th thing is from a Piotr Kamler DVD... after shipping, it's like 40 US bucks, and PAL only, but will mystify your (possibly dilated) pupils. Kamler has some kinda brain. http://tinyurl.com/4llmc9

Fri. 10/3/08 1:48pm From: Sean Daily

Well, Dow Jones was up as much as 2% today. But it looks like the index started to crash as soon as the bill was passed. It's up barely 0.3% from opening as I type this.

Think the moneyed class knows something we don't?

Fri. 10/3/08 1:54pm From: stingy d

HEEEEEEELL YEA!!!!!!

Fri. 10/3/08 1:54pm From: ken

Thanks Bryce! I went on Mimaroglu and saw the 12 disk set and had palpitations, yikes, yeaaaa, yikes! So nice to know there are some other options as well, and, as a visual artist, my dilated pupils love getting even more mystified!! As always, thanks for the introductions!!!

Fri. 10/3/08 1:55pm From: Ike

Sean, yes, they do. The overinflated housing prices will have to crash sometime, no matter what.

So, lots of taxpayer money is with a former Goldman Sachs exec in the Bush admin, who will buy some "mortgage-backed securities," i.e. worthless hot air. Permegiani, take me away!

Fri. 10/3/08 2:02pm From: Hugo
