Man, I thought this Giant Sand was Bob Dorough at first! (of schoolhouse rock fame) or Dave Frischman with Marc Ribot.

This set is causing my brain to light up like a Xmas tree, especially that killer Howlin' Wolf tune scrambled with J.O. Motherfucker.

Tue. 9/16/08 11:57am From: drewo

Robert Forster (ex-Go-Betweener) was great last night at Joe's Pub. Mix of solo material (his new lp is solid) and Go-Betweens treats and a VU cover. Crackin' band and an enthusiastic crowd made for a fun evening. Thanks to WFMU for always supporting the Go-B's.

Tue. 9/16/08 12:00pm From: north guinea hills

holy smith!, i've never heard this track direct from a 78 before! awesome show scott!
