Listener comments!

  2:54pm
billyJam:

Greetings WFMU listeners. Tis Friday afternoon. And the topic on most peoples' minds is not the Republican ticket but what name should Jeff Mullan (this show's board op) chose for his new band. Should it be "Baby Trigg's Wig" or something more psych'y sounding being that it is a psychedelic hardcore band. More telling the drummer got a DUI and two of the guys are starting back to school as they are high school art teachers. Any suggestions on what this so far un-named band should be called? Send in your comments/suggestions now on it or anything else. - peace billyjam@wfmu.org

First comment after Billy Jam! Woo hoo!
  3:03pm
Sean Weekly:

Third comment but first comment about a Republican themed dream, no nightmare -woo hoo noo. So anyways last night I had a strange dream and in that dream, in which Bryce was playing strange music in the background creating the perfectly eerie mood for the weirdness that would ensue: much to my horror - although my voice was gone when I tried scream - McCain was elected next president of the United States but within three months (exactly 91 days) he dropped dead of a massive heart attack. That afternoon he was replaced by his Veep Palin. Then fourteen days into her term, the hockey mom gets into in a freak snowmobile accident, skids off the road and is killed instantly. Next up the baby, her baby - yeah the baby Trigg by some strange turn in rules is rushed into office to become "the first baby" with special needs promoted to become US president - well actually the second if you count current imbecile in office. But here's the twist "Baby Prez" or "The Lil Retard In Charge" as some cruel media outlets (in my dream) have dubbed him (maybe good band names for Jeff Mullan?) ends up doing a much better job than Dubya ever did and is booked on Larry King for an hour - as soon as he learns to walk and talk.
  3:04pm
Lisa M:

Hey , sorry Im late!!! Billy no you did not put Trig on the front page, LOL LOL
  3:05pm

I saw a bumper sticker last night "George Bush's Plan: Leave No Child Left One Dime." Maybe that'd be a good name for a band.

You know, I sense a certain amount of... how should I say this... hostility towards the GOP here...

The "Survival of the Fittest" beat will surely score scorched earth, nothing in hip-hop is as malevolent as that beat! Even the record pops sound hostile.

  4:47pm

Hey Sean, he was throwing a few hard curves, I think as much as he was able to. The GOP went to him, because although he can be tough at times, there is only so far he will go.
