The U. S. ain't what it used to be, Mr. Cool. But it can be turned around. Problem is, people are too wrapped up in BS like abortion, creationism and living a "green" lifestyle without being inconvenienced. (I'm one of them) It's gonna take work, but the people and their energies too dispersed for that right now.

I hate to say it, but a major recession or depression might be helpful. It will at least get people's focus off of the BS.

One thing I think is absolutely necessary is for people to get over the "We Are a Superpower" mentality. It's going to bankrupt the country.
