Molerat,
Never too late to compliment Willie Nelson's throat!
  10:10am miki:

Hi Doug - Can you test that stream address Doron sent last night? I'm sending audio from Battery Park now.
  10:38am Doug:

Ken,
I had a slightly wrong URL. I've typed in the correct one, but it's just flashing "connecting."
  10:40am Parq:

Doug, this reminds me, there are a half-dozen Fela tracks available for download at the blog Diddy Wah, in a post from last Sunday titled "The Black President". You may well have most or all of them already, but I thought my fellow listeners would dig it.
  10:44am Paul Sherratt:

Thanks for that glorious Amadou Balake, Doug

Belting drums. Reminds me of Sly Dunbars drumming on Tease Me CD by Chaka Demus & Pliers.
  10:47am The Bunnies:

We loved that Frimpong track. Can't wait to find out more about this artist.
  10:50am C:

Thanks for that German set and for that touch of early thirties Berlin. Being a popular Jewish artist was only possible up to 1933, of course. Otto Wallburg, whom we heard at the beginning of that set, ended up in Auschwitz in 1944, having been deported from Holland.
  12:00pm Brian Sanders:

'Senator Jesse Helms’ record as a freedom fighter is unmatched.' - Baroness Margaret Thatcher
Yes she supported Pinochet as well
