Sun. 6/15/08 3:30am From: steve

neither are some of the women in these ads... this one actually uses the phrase "hit you in the face".

Sun. 6/15/08 3:33am From: Joshua K

I am getting silence out of my radio, but the internet streams. Is somethin up with the transmitter?

Sun. 6/15/08 3:35am From: EDM

yep 91.1 is off the air due to the storm. sorry.

Sun. 6/15/08 3:35am From: steve

the front page says: Our 91.1 FM transmitter is currently off the air due to an electrical storm in West Orange, New Jersey. We will get the 91.1 signal back on as soon as we can. Our internet streams and archives, and our 90.1 fm signal are all operating normally. Sorry about this!

Sun. 6/15/08 3:37am From: Joshua K

Hah, I was on the front page and totally missed that. Power has been dicey in our area ever since that storm.

Sun. 6/15/08 4:10am From: EDM

yeah Joshua, that didn't seem to jump out and hit you in the face... lucky.

Sun. 6/15/08 5:10am From: Thomas

Hello Evan... big thanks for the past year of great music on Sunday mornings. The past year has been kind of chaotic on my end---but yr show on Sundays (and WFMU in general) has been an anchor point of sanity. Be well on your leave and come back often for fill-ins at fmu!

Sun. 6/15/08 5:20am From: EDM

ahhh thanks thomas! hope things normalize for your in the near future. my year is going to start looking like yours sounds...now at least we've got kenny G !!?!!

Sun. 6/15/08 5:29am From: Thomas

yeah thanks, I see light at the end of the tunnel with that thesis I'm trying to submit... and all the other stuff called life. Yes, having Kenny G back is Great!!!

Wed. 6/18/08 11:43am From: Erik

Thanks Evan. Farewell and I hope you'll be back some day. I loved your show, even though I only managed to listen live once. But I think I listened to every single archive. I also appreciated your contributions to the WFMU cookbook!
