"Bring it to Jerome" is available for download on the Boogie Woogie Flu blog. Somewhat eerily, it was posted last week in honor of Zimmerman's BD.

One gripe. Every Bo obit I have read describes his guitars as being square.

Bo was one of the few rock guys that denied me an autograoph and I held it against him. I take it back and say good bye he was on of the greatest but it still bugs me about Lady Bo

a few years ago i did a radio show on wbar called "the bo diddley and jesus fist fight in heaven" and i stole a jesus and mary chain song for its website domain: www.bodiddleyisjesus.org. anyway, i put a tribute up there yesterday. unfortunately i think it's confusing people!

Speaking of confusing, Barnard has its own separate radio station and someone named Mike was on the staff there?

wbar is a freeform station that owes a lot to wfmu, and isn't a super strict part of the radio establishment like wkcr. and wbar is open to barnard and columbia students. in fact, during the summer they let anyone who wants a show dj (you don't even have to be a student). check out wbar.org if you're interested.

Excellent, I was wondering when you were going to play some Moe Tucker (although I thought you would have played Bo Diddley from the Playing Possum album)

You did mike, you did! Almost the same riff as "sha la la la la la late at night." I'm pretty sure that's where they got it for 'Live For Today" - on the record! there's a story behind it that I can't recall but Todd-o-Phonic talked about it once.
