An experiment with 3 disc phonographs being played and manipulated simultaneously. WARNING: This program is not for the phonophrail at heart. Contained in this program are sounds so cacophonous that listeners have been known to run screaming from the transmission. If you do listen, beware that you may become entranced with the sounds. Keep your hand very near the off button for your speakers. If you find yourself beginning to tremble, sweat or experience bowel discomfort, immediately STOP the program and never listen to it again. What was going on the Tuesday May 5 2008??? This was very irritating and absolute nonsense. What happened to the Antique Phonograph Program? This is despicable and rather disappointing. Those records and cylinders are extremely fragile and found the show very disturbing to say the least.

Why are you evidently playing two (or more?) acoustic recordings simultaneously? Is it Dada night at the Antique Phonograph Music Program? Or am I missing something?

Yeah, who says the Antique Phonograph can't be experimental like all the other shows on WFMU? I loved the show too!!!

Why don't you ditch that windup crap and play some nice organ records?

At the very least this show has provoked more comment than the last few put together.
My own view was that I did not enjoy it.
