Playlist for Irene Trudel - May 5, 2008

Mondays Noon - 3pm on WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

Little fluffy clouds of music, occasionally darkened by sonic thunderheads; with a sunny lining of stringed instruments and live performances now and then.

Mon. 5/5/08 5:20pm Kyle:

Last time Peter Biedermann played on your show you played Pyramid Song by Radiohead and Guenevere by Miles Davis. Too bad I was not listening, or knew what WFMU was, back then.

Mon. 5/5/08 5:25pm Irene:

I think there's still an archive up of that one, Kyle. Glad you're listening now!

Tue. 5/6/08 11:07am Jeremy:

Beautiful set again Irene, and great to hear Peter B back in your studio. I was one of those in the UK that Peter mentioned who first heard him back in 2001 on your show, and straight off bought a couple of discs from him (well, three). All that's happened in between and he still makes wonderful music. Time to drop him a line and buy his latest I guess. And perhaps he could be tempted to tour over here - looks like there's at least two of us that would come to a Colchester show!
