Listener comments!

  11:06pm
Joe:

Evan, I have the nastiest flu of my life, and I blame your fucking Bosox. Varitek was patient zero.
  11:11pm
efd:

(I never did get to see what you had in that bright yellow bag.)
  11:24pm
efd:

E.L., when's your birthday? Oh, and to answer the question you asked in your email: Armageddon.
(note to other listeners: he asked what the first word in that mediocre Def Leppard song was.)
whut up, Toni D?? you think LuAnn and Gunther are gonna hook up??
  11:25pm
efd:

this is not a yellow bag selection, but the opening song was!
  11:26pm
dave:

i've said it before, i'll say it again:

there's all of human history, and then there's trailmix's "you make lovin' fun". future generations will devote the better part of their intellectual effort to the comprehension of just how this remix came to be, and we will be a better species for it.
  11:28pm
Scott:

I'm with Dave. This Trailmix mix - just bliss...
  11:28pm

May 12th — A Monday! I'm going to the Patton Oswalt show that night but I'm sure I'll be home in time for your show.

Armageddon it! That's the one.
  11:30pm
Droll:

Dave, the people of the future will consider the remix and decide the original song was better than a looped version sauced with a (fake) Moog drenched in reverb. Surely you want the future to remember the gorgeous vocal harmonies and faux bell tones at the end!

  11:52pm
Sybil:

I tried to warn you, Droll...
  11:55pm
E.L.:

"And then one day a black bug, who was related to nobody, arrived in the neighborhood."
  11:58pm
Droll:

Sybil, I know, but every time I stop and go back to my drooling, there's GG Allen, or Lisa Lisa, or... I'm gonna get another beer bottle and see if there's more band names in it.
  11:58pm
Jessica:

Rematch on your coast! Soonish, maybe!
(Fingers crossed that the thing I was all hopped up about, er... something something tomorrow morning mustn't jinx it kthxbai.)

I really liked the Chin Chin piece, went to their myspace page and liked even more. Good stuff!

(Yes, I was listening to songs on their myspace page with one ear and the radio with the other, and it was ever bit as much fun as it sounds. :->)
  12:21am
Jessica:

Is it just me, or did that PWEI song have a whiff of Unskinny Bop to it?
  12:26am
Rambozo The Clown:

Yes I think PWEI is sampling from Brett & the boys....
  12:34am
Jessica:

Bum kon. Suicidal in Denver! Wow.
  1:28am
Amanda:

Yeah, yeah it offends me.

I know this is coming in late, but: So relieved that we'll hear more "in" sound! That stuff is gold. I wonder if I should hone my Evan Funk Davies impression.

Listening from Sacramento. Thanks for spinning some local rock courtesy of the Mayyors!
  1:36am
efd:

Amanda, I can assure you you are not alone in your love of The "In" Sound! I'm totally psyched I was able to track down another one of those LPs.
  1:59am

  2:00am
COBRA:

EVAN - rockin it baby - rock it
  11:24am
Jimmy Dial!:

According to an interview Glen Jones did with Mike Peters, Mike sent John Peel his band's 1st demo called Alarm Alarm. Mr. Peel wrote back and said no good, you should call yourselves The Alarm. The rest of course is RocknRoll history!
