Listener comments!

Tue. 4/29/08 7:16pm Sean Daily:

I wonder how Williams managed that incredible bend in his voice. My guess is pliers and a very sensitive part of his anatomy.

Sat. 5/3/08 9:56am Ted Pedant:

I am delighted to see you are playing a half of the entire recorded reportoire of The Cook Sisters. In my opinion they are the best of all the sibling acts including Else and Doris Waters. I knew Doris when she was just a puddle.

Sat. 5/3/08 10:08am Randy Idleburg:

Doris later married Carl Rivers. They spawned a fine family.

Sat. 5/3/08 10:37am Doris Waters:

Thanks, Ted. You used to say we were the best - POTABLE, you called us.

Sat. 5/3/08 10:47am A Long Memory:

I can assure Mr Idleburg that they weren't the only family spawned by that rascal. "Rivers, Stay 'Way From My Door" was a popular sentiment round here.

Sat. 5/3/08 11:04am Irma Quibbling:

On the subject of water, is it true that Collins H. Driggs died drunk playing with his Novachord in the bath?

Sat. 5/3/08 11:18am John London:

Thank you, Mr Edison. A very funny, very beautiful hour

Mon. 4/27/09 12:34am Kelly:

Irma, no. Collins H. Driggs died of a heart attack.
