bryce, thanks for the ilhan mimaroglu, he's a fave of mine. he quit his post at columbia 6 years ago b/c they instituted a no smoking policy, and he loves his cigarettes. he's about 80 now, no lung cancer for him yet.

Actually, I'm kind of stoked that the new exhibit at the Library of Congress parses Jeffersson's use of symbolism / mythological allegory in the construction of Monticello. Hi Billy I interviewed aidan walsh in 1998 and when i asked him at the end of the interview did he have anything else he would like to add to the questions i asked he replied:
