Fri. 4/4/08 3:53pm From: HotRod

Only 5%...damn...

Quick question for you ladies...

How do you feel about current younger female street artists like Maya Hayuk and Swoon? And how do you all feel about the current popularity of wheatpasting and woodblocks versus straight up, traditional spray paint bombing?

Fri. 4/4/08 3:54pm From: sahak

i def admire the new age graf like that surrealist stuff but nothing beats old school graf from nyc

Born and raised in LIC, NY.....exposed to graff since forever through my bro. Currently researching Lady Pink for my research paper and can't wait to go view Pink's and Aiko's work in Bklyn! Great interview. The ladies are providing me with great info for my paper. Keep up the creative juices ladies. God bless!

Fri. 4/4/08 4:30pm From: paul p in berlin

just to say the graffitti art in berlin is great and tha all round bombing of the centre of the city. its an integral part of the urban visual landscape. its strange in berlin because to look at the the windows of the trains and trams which are mostly scraped and scratched combined with the all round bombing you might think that the place is very out of control in terms of it been rough on the streets but in actual fact its incredibly peaceful too, without been boring.

Fri. 4/4/08 4:33pm From: porkchop

Hey Billy - This playlist wasn't set to "Accu" so I changed it. Hope that's OK. Now the song info is appearing in the player as well as at the top of the homepage.

Fri. 4/4/08 4:59pm From: spaniel

i think the Brooklyn Museum is free tomorrow (every 1st Saturday).

That last track (PG 13 & Wake, i think?) was amazing fruit.

Fri. 4/4/08 5:01pm From: Jessica

north guinea hills - I know! That strange vibration we all felt that Thursday night makes sense, now. The news just broke today: he was 12hrs from Year of Klaus 62. Equinox seems a likely time to boogie into the great beyond, really, esp. if it's also your birthday. Eh?

Fri. 4/4/08 5:03pm From: porkchop

Sorry, but Zigaboo Modeliste trumps Klaus for best-named drummer ever (I think).
