(mta) Tony:

What a way to start a morning. Now I'll never get back to sleep. This music and a few cups of joe will get me going for sure. Thanks, Trent. Glad you enjoyed the Boredoms concert.
  7:48am
trent:

Thanks Tony. There is nothing like cosmic expansion to wake you up for sure.
  8:14am
montreal:

you need some super roots 7 to bridge between tatari and kraut phases.
  8:19am
trent:

Good idea. Too late for this time but next time (I'm sure there will be a next time) I'll try to work that particular sequence in, ok?
  8:23am
C:

Thanks for this great set, Trent. I'm definitely going to check them out on Thursday now.
  8:27am
trent:

Don't thank me, thank them. They make it really easy to put together a great radio show with little effort on the DJ's part. Absolutely, definitely, you must go see them! I'm considering coming to Philly and / or DC to see them again.
  8:36am
montreal:

anyone who lives within 2 hours of a city where they are playing EVER should attend.
  8:38am
trent:

Absolutely. It's just something you won't regret. Especially if you're listening to this radio station. Mind-altering, life-changing, inspiring beyond belief every time they play!

jonathan:

when are they playing in philly?
  8:46am

I was at boredoms last night too, but slept/commuted through your show. I'll definitely check out the archive. I desperately need to relive guitar wall, but fear these recordings don't capture that recent addition. I hear that's his newest addition to the live show. Is that true?
  9:04am
trent:

Yes, I'm writing up a blog posting that should be up later today at blog.wfmu.org abuot he show, with pictures. The guitar wall, which is called Sevena, and built by one of the members of DMBQ who is now in Boredoms, and I don't think it's in the Super Roots 9 recording I just played for you, their latest release, and first live recording. Something tells me we'll be hearing it on an album sometime soon though. Yes, I do think it's the latest addition to the live show.

FYI they are playing at other music tonight in NYC but all 50 (!) tickets are gone.

seanh:

they let you take photos, or are these guerrilla shots? I was up above on the 3rd floor, and watching the bouncers pounce on photographers like puma.
  10:36am
trent:

guerilla!!
