Special thanks to the artist, WFMU fan, and fomer show guest LS MONKEY for unveiling for the first time her new painting BENEVOLENT MONSTER here on this playlist. Note that this piece was recently painted (in a warehouse space in Oakland, CA while listening to WFMU) & for more info go to www.luckyspacemonkey.com or her new site http://web.mac.com/lsmonkey/Sarahwaitechase/Home.html where she writes about this piece "This series began in 2008. I live in an urban area and I am always looking at the sky. I started taking photographs of the cityscapes of Oakland and San Francisco. After looking at these photos I started dreaming of about a monster that roamed the streets particularly at dusk. These are images that I painted of him." - - Also thank you to the guests and participants for today's show including Better Beatles' founder Jay Rosen calling in from the West Coast, Bryce & Scott Williams for sharing their skills via the Casio Rapman's keyboard and vocal capabilities + Bethany (Sundays 9 to Midnite) who jumped on the mic for a second. - And THANKS to YOU for listening live or in the archives to what I believe is the BEST station in the nation + beyond - WFMU. Next week on this show will be the second annual graffitii special. This year's panel is an all female graf round table discussion including Lady Pink and others (See UPCOMING on this website for full details) and in three weeks the artist Y-Love will be a special guest....Also coming in next two months will be a special 1988 themed show ------
