Great show this morning! It lightens up the sky here :) Greetz from Amsterdam

Fri. 3/28/08 8:19am Paul P:

Hi Hotrod. Just out of curiosity, as i have seen this before on other shows it looks like you are following a pre set out playlist. Why so? How so? I am a radio and bar/club dj myself and would find it difficult not to spontaneously change my set as the feeling takes you. Its great. I just curious. thx

Fri. 3/28/08 8:20am m:

Thank you, jeremy. It was so very nice..

Fri. 3/28/08 8:20am Ryan:

Poll for you guys, which is the better trip?

New York for the MoCCA Comics Festival, or Toronto for Graffiti hunting/?

Fri. 3/28/08 8:23am listener jeremy:

graffiti hunting sounds cool

Fri. 3/28/08 8:23am Paul P:

I think i would go to Toronto as I would be a little more curious about the grafitti there and the lay of the land. Having said that NYC is always great to visit. I would try and do both

Fri. 3/28/08 8:28am Ryan:

Alas, if only the money were there for both, Paul P. You are after my heart, though.

Fri. 3/28/08 8:30am HotRod:

You make an excellent point there, Paul P. As a web only DJ at WFMU, my shows HAVE TO BE pre-recorded. So that's why I post the entire playlist at the beginning of the show.

Fri. 3/28/08 8:32am Ryan:

I'm totally digging the psychobilly today, I'm gonna have to go to work extra dangerous.

Fri. 3/28/08 8:40am listener jeremy:

Can I call and ask JM to go on until noon?

Fri. 3/28/08 8:43am Parq:

Ryan,a quick pitch for NY and ComicCon. I know a few people who are involved in it, and it promises to be a good'n this year. Bring a sweater and a brollie though - April weather is mighty unstable here'bouts.

Fri. 3/28/08 8:48am Ryan:

A few friends of mine have been to ComicCon and have said nothing but good things, but I can tell you that I will not have vacation in April so it makes it a challenge to be able to attend this year.

That, and I may have a better chance at attending an after party at MoCCA, as my buddy Jason knows some of the artists that will be there.

Fri. 3/28/08 9:27am Ryan:

Later Hot Rod. Your music has made me smile sufficiently.

Fri. 3/28/08 9:32am Dedalus:

Thanks Hotrod..... Great show again. Bye all.
