Remember Shatner doing "Common People"? Well, via Matt Perpetua's "Fluxbblog", I just picked up on this -- the same song reinterpreted with Archie panels. Dig. http://www.the-isb.com/?p=308

Good morning, Michael! Thanks for the Ventures, a totally number one hit and Hall of Fame band. Wish I could hear the whole show but I'm driving from Nashua, NH to Springfield, MA this morning. Thank God for the archives!

Oohh . . . that "favorite pen" question for the Lightning Round is a good one. Mine's the Pilot V-Ball Rollerball, extra fine. Blue or black preferred, red or purple also good.

"bad love" - Sedaka and Elton. Marks the point in time when AM radio began to REALLY suck!

Obviously. I totally agree on all your tastes that I have heard so far; EXCEPT Elton John. I think he is more like a #2 artist than #1

Dr. Goldfoot & His Bikini Machine...the first movie I rented from Netflix.

Peter K.:
Scott Schinder has it slightly wrong about the sequel to "Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine." He's correct that it was made in Italy, but he's wrong to say that "instead of Frankie Avalon and Fabian, it had two Italian guys." In fact, the first "Dr. Goldfoot" movie had Frankie Avalon and Dwayne ("Dobie Gillis") Hickman. The sequel, "Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs," did indeed have two unfunny Italian comedians, but it also had Fabian. And amazingly, it was directed by Mario Bava, who is better known for some genuinely great horror movies. Oh, and both movies starred the incomprable Vincent Price as Dr. Goldfoot.
