@ NAD: Thanks, I thought so too! @ BT:You're right. I'm sorry. While I was reading I was like "bad idea...bad idea...bad idea..." I won't do it again! @leanmeat: Thank you. I love pictures too. @ptp pren: Thank you. I'm glad at least one person thinks that. You might be the only one. So thank you REALLY. @ jonathan: You know to be honest I think it's the production. It all sounds like a wall of that like early-90s late 80s indie kind of hazy sheen over it, I've never liked that kind of production, I like something with some sharp edges. One good example of this is Fugazi's "13 Songs" and also "Steady Diet of NOthing" for that matter. Now these albums are fucking amazing but the first Fugazi album I really got into was "Red MEdicine" and then to a lesser extent "Repeater" and not because the songs were better (they are not) but because the production was more poppin'. Anyway I think that's why I hate the pixies (I also think they're boring and "Wave of Mutilation" is not fun to play in Rock Band). I don't HATE them but you have to be over-the-top to be a great and entertaining radio DJ, right? I do love the breeders though and even played them in my last show. Great production on Last Splash. @j: Really terrible cover. | |
