dont be so sure------its pretty gloomy and sunless lately, and i think its going to rain all day..... and yeah, the currency. . . about the cheapest beer you find in a bar is 35 kroner, theyre often more like 50....

That is a bit much from my perspective although not too different from certain bars in Manhattan I don't frequent often.

a bit much from my perspective too, since until this july i lived in red hook (brooklyn).
i will say, the pigeons (+people) here are quite healthy and beautiful

i'd like to add that a single 11oz. (0.33L) bottle of Brooklyn IPA costs 19dkk in the GROCERY store. that makes copenhagen gloomy even when the sun is out! (the sun last broke through the clouds on monday, fyi)

the danes mostly speak better english than I do, and it's basically my only language. my danish extends as far as ordering a beer and telling someone they have jeans on. jeans are called "cowboybukser", or cowboy-pants. awesome danes.
