JJZ:
I regret not scheduling this as a day off too.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:11am
Liz B.:
By the looks of our fill-in schedule, it looks like you and I are the only ones on task today, JJZ.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:17am
Parq:
Nein. I am prepping myself for the coal pit even as we speak.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:21am
Mike Lupica:
Liz said: "it looks like you and I are the only ones on task today". Pardon me, my radio sister. But I am two floors above you, sabotaging your desk. -Mike
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:23am
Liz B.:
I stand corrected, there are at possibly 2 others at work today.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:25am
Fred:
Parq, I'm already at work underground (under Paris). Good thing: I can listen to the station at work, being alone in this office.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:28am
Dickdong (UK):
Count me in. At work picture framing till it goes quiet in the shop downstairs.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:32am
gerardo:
hi everyone! because of my schedule i'm not at work right now, but feel free to enjoy this solitude status - there are no co-workers complaining about listening to 'fmu and stuff. ¡Feliz 2008! - Un abrazo a todos desde Chile

Lou Z:
Working my butt off here in C-town. Loved the Field track.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:48am
Mike Lupica:
Lou Z, do you mean Cleveland, Corpus Christi, or the supermarket?
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:52am
Liz B.:
Lou's gonna need a manicure if he's working at C-Town... all of the checkout ladies at the store in my neighborhood are sporting x-mas-themed tips.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 9:59am
Lou Z:
I like to be different and sport the palm trees in the winter.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 10:01am
gerardo:
If "the checkout ladies at the stores in my neighborhood" sang stuff like Lexie's, i would invent things to buy there!

I'm joining to this singalong from my cubie at work. Since I'm sportin' the headphones, my coworkers will have to put it down to blossoming insanity.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 10:11am
gerardo:

Nick the Bard:
ARRRGGG!!!! The ONE song I thought I'd NEVER hear on this station. I had to turn my radio off for the first time in months because of a song. BAH. (Cheap Trick) Yay Accuplaylist at least to know when it was over though...
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:25am
Liz B.:
No love for Cheap Trick?! Watch out Nick, it's about to get worse!
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:26am

Mon. 12/31/07 11:28am
JJZ:
Ah, I love ELO. | |
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:29am
Nick the Bard:
Cheap Trick is great, that one song is just pure unadulterated EVIL.
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:33am
Mom Da Bard:
Nicky! this is your mother. I am tuned in here with the girls at work at the factory and they are loving Liz's show. And such a nice girl. When are you gonna meet a nice girl? Nicky, did you remember to take your medication? Oh, and dont forget to put out the garbage today. They come a day early this week.

Mon. 12/31/07 11:37am
lonnie:
which half is which, liz?
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:41am
Ike H:
I have to agree with Nick the Bard -- I like Cheap Trick but that particular song is a sinister, slimy, vicious, wriggling earworm of Satan. Dug that ELO though. Uh oh, this net connection is crapping out and I'm in Maryland right now... no more of Liz's show for me. Bye!
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:45am
Glenn L:

Liz B.:
Happy New Year to all, and to all a fun night!
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:52am
Parq:
Bard, you should have been here last week when Ol Pal Irwin (he of the elegant Holiday-season substitute show) played REO Speedwagon. Gonna Keep On Loving You! On Christmas Eve, yet!
|
Mon. 12/31/07 11:59am
Nick the Bard:
REO Speedwagon isn't THAT bad. It's cheesy and all, but, it's not on the level of the three songs that make me want to get all stabby on them. those songs are the afore mentioned Cheap Trick song, and both major versions of a certain KISS song. And that's three songs out of the entire history of music's existance, including before that.
