I didn't know Kev Hopper had released an album about garlic. I loved Stump. Back in 1991 or so, Stump and Siouxsie got my teen-aged self out of top-40 music.

Actually garlic is a member of the lily family; not the rose family. Am I the only one who finds this interesting? Here goes.
Lily/Liliaceae:
Onions, garlic, chives, leeks, shallots, green onions, asparagus, sarsparilla
Rose/Rosaceae:
Almond, apricot, cherry, nectarine, peach, plum, prune, wild cherry, apple, crabapple, loquat, pear, blackberry, boysenberry, dewberry, kenny loganberry, raspberry, quince, strawberry, rose hips

thanks for the insight, william. i think "stinking rose" is a nickname for garlic cuz a bulb sorta looks like a rosebud, and it stinks.
