yay, really looking forward to hearing the sounds from mr. resistor. i'd meant to go into the city for the show at etsy labs today, but i was too lazy and ended up just sitting around.

Fellow library addict checking in here, enjoying your library proselytizing. After hearing you talk about the Daisies film last week I put it in my NYPL queue just out of curiosity.

as you suggest, i really wish i could've seen the mister resistor show as well as hearing it. there seems to be a lot of very good stuff going on in NY recently along the lines of hand-constructed electronic instrument performances that must be seen as well as heard -- tristan perich springs to mind as an avatar of that set,; i really need to see the Loud Objects perform live.

also, love this guitar stuff.
  Sun. 12/16/07 10:34pm dave:

  Sun. 12/16/07 10:45pm patrick:

  Sun. 12/16/07 10:51pm bethany:

Patrick: Do you mean explain the beat grinder? Here's a photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ranjit/2116195621/

  Sun. 12/16/07 11:05pm bethany:

Thanks, Sabrina. I got stuck on your question about a wish for the holiday season...one thing is for sure, I wish everyone health and happiness in the coming year!!
  Sun. 12/16/07 11:30pm slugluv1313:

happy holly-daze to you, too, Bethany!

wishing you all the best in the coming year!

i love how your show takes boring old Sunday nights to a whole 'nother dimension; my wish is that you continue to saturate our senses via WFMU airwaves (and internet too, of course!)
