Playlist for The Evan "Funk" Davies Show - December 3, 2007

Mondays 11pm - 2am on WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

Starting with the 70s -- it could be a classic (or obscure) punk rocker, a forgotten disco diva, a long-unheard hit record, or none of these. What happens next depends on what's in the WFMU new bin and whether I remember my records from home. Tune in and find out! You'll even hear a live band once in a while.

Thanks very much for the Besnard Lakes tix. EFD and FMU. Report on show (not to be all gift-horsey): so-so+. Each song seemed like it was building to greatness, but was in fact just building to another, similar song. They kinda substitute fracture for dynamics. But with that caveat, pretty good.

Fri. 12/7/07 9:11am From: efd

Hey Aharon, thanks for the follow-up report! Glad you had the chance to check them out even if it turned out to be not exactly your cup of tea.
