Listener comments!

dave:

cripes. there must be something in the air. this song has been stuck in my head ALL WEEK.
  11:11pm
efd:

I love it when that happens to me! Glad I could make that happen to you.
  11:15pm
dave:

thanks! and yes, i'm sensing a theme.

"government center" has GOT to be coming up right? right? or "roadrunner"? g'head, prove me wrong.

yay sox!
  11:25pm
Wei Chian:

Hey Evan, any information on where the Plant Street track comes from? Done the requisite searches on-line but came up with nothing much except real-life hospitals.....thanks!
  11:25pm
efd:

i think you're about to be proven wrong...
  11:27pm
dave:

typical.
  11:31pm
efd:

@wei chian, i just went through the same thing... I don't have a physical copy of that, unfortunately, and when i tried to find out more info i also kept getting real hospitals!
if i think of it i will ask Chuck Warner about it at the record fair this weekend.
  11:34pm
Wei Chian:

Thanks! Dang, wish I was in NY for the fair.....
  11:52pm
(mta) Tony:

What do you need? A ticket or a place to stay?
  11:59pm
Wei Chian:

Hi Tony, both! Ha ha. I'm not in the US. Thanks for asking though.
  12:03am
Cosmoptina:

Evan - Satellites song was great - that Dionysus Records. Home of the hits, huh? Was that Dude-o-ronomy?
  12:06am
Cosmoptina:

Evan - Wish I could go to that show on Rivington on Halloween - what are you going to be for Halloween? Love "Be Your Own Pet!"
Must go to sleep - Fun show!
  12:41am
chewie:

Spin says THE HATCH are "radio-ready rock songs dressed in RnB style", and their first "sounds like" band listed on MySpace is Maroon 5.
I think that says it all.
Still can't figure out where in Brooklyn they live. But if I see a dude with a vest on...
  12:47am
efd:

oh man, I forgot to mention the vests. sheesh...

@Jam-- er, I mean, Cosmoptina: I am going to be home for Halloween. But I agree, that Cake Shop show does sound like a good one.
  1:08am
chewie:

I bet at least one dude from The Kings does a google search for "This Beat Goes On / Switchin' To Glide", finds this playlist, listens to the show and hears you putting them to shame.
  8:21am
Ike:

Holy crap, so you were one of the 12 people actually watching "Next Great American Band" last Friday on Fox? That show will probably be cancelled any minute now, like everything else that has aired on Fox on Fridays for the last decade. They just can't get any traction on that night. Maybe they'll keep this show around because it's cheap to produce, but when you're beaten by everything else, including CW wrestling and possibly two or three Spanish-language networks, that's kind of embarrassing. At least Fox is not chronically murdering poor innocent critically-acclaimed new sci-fi series on that night anymore.
  11:55am
Mike Lupica:

I kneel before any DJ who plays "A Hard Road" by Black Sabbath -- one of their greatest songs that never gets any lip service!
  7:33pm
Rick Toombs:

wow... general hospital by planet street... i bought the 45 in the local bin at newbury comics back in the day... my records are in storage, so this is way cool... thx :-)
