Wed. 10/24/07 9:02am John Paul:

Is that the Pope in your playlist or are you just glad to see me?

Wed. 10/24/07 9:05am Dorl Trankuler:

Glord Manning! Lob the shoe!

Wed. 10/24/07 9:06am Webhamster Henry:

Thanks Ken! I was hoping for a good U.N. Day International set!

Wed. 10/24/07 9:10am JJZ:

Speaking of mashups, I was pleased to notice last night that Go Home Productions put pretty much everything they've done up for easy download.

Wed. 10/24/07 9:14am John from Oslo:

Good Morning on the East Coast

I bet "Start a fire" by the Tiger Lillies will be on this weeks playlist.

Wed. 10/24/07 9:18am Vivian:

Good Morning from the Southeast

Shall we anticipate 'Ring of Fire' making an appearance on today's playlist?

Wed. 10/24/07 9:24am JB:

Good afternoon from Europe !

Wed. 10/24/07 9:26am Ken:

Welcome, I'm afraid this concludes our anti-tribute to the California wildfires. I could play fire songs all morning but that would be too easy.

Wed. 10/24/07 9:36am Ann Arbor Doug:

I really look forward to the 9-12 on Wednesdays. <3 KEN!!

Wed. 10/24/07 9:38am Shad:

I'm relaxed...I'm letting go now! Could you help me with my mellon? There are too many pits in
here.

Wed. 10/24/07 9:47am Philip Rivers:

Great playlist! Ken you rock.
No practice again today.

Wed. 10/24/07 9:52am lonnie:

Wed. 10/24/07 10:06am Doug:

You know where to find this Beijing Pop 2007 disc?

Wed. 10/24/07 10:08am Ken:

The Beijing Pop comp is on the Invisible label - find a source and post it here!

Wed. 10/24/07 10:12am Ken:

Whoa - Looks like WFMU's transmitter is off the air.... there's been a blackout at the West Orange Transmitter Site.

Wed. 10/24/07 10:18am evan:

thanks for more fire songs. missed the top of the show.

Wed. 10/24/07 10:33am lydia:

Thank goodness for the internet!!!!
If I lost you today, it would be truly horrible.

Wed. 10/24/07 10:39am Parq:

<a la Spazz's drop-in> We got rid of that crowd! Now we can swing!

Wed. 10/24/07 10:39am lydia:

A) Ken, you could curse up a storm in these next few minutes!

B) I love it that Nachem listens to the station when he's not on.

Wed. 10/24/07 10:40am john:

wow. i can't believe you played that last bit. you'll never be able to do that again. one of those memorable, you-had-to-be-there moments, never to be repeated. i pity those non-listeners, it was truly life-changing and...

Wed. 10/24/07 10:42am Ken:

Alas, I still cant curse or play any non-FCC friendly records because our signal at 90.1 fm is still on the air. I'm almost tempted to put the iPod on 90.1fm....

Wed. 10/24/07 10:46am Bryant:

It'd be kind of embarrassing if you were halfway through a recitation of "Howl" when 91.1 suddenly and unexpectedly came back on the air, giving the FCC special-operations team license to kick their way into the studio and put their collective boot to your throat.

Wed. 10/24/07 10:46am mildred:

i must know the name of that tune between goody goody and o homem da bicicleta. pleeeez
thank you much.
it is odd coincidence for me that here today was the hall of the mountain king and this other one. so i might differentiate them And know there names at last as both are the few strings to childhood madness! yay

Wed. 10/24/07 10:47am eric:

As a Schwab and an erstwhile Germanist, I'm dying to know the Herkunft of the "Schwabingrad Ballet" -- as inspiring a number as Toedliche Doris's cover of 12xU

Wed. 10/24/07 10:48am Carol:

Up here in northern Vermont . I always used 91.1 as the static radio frequency to play my i-pod when driving. Recently, I set it to 91.1, and was listening thinking it was my i-pod when it was really the radio. I've never heard a dj so I had no idea I was listening to my favorite station, never knew the WFMU call letters because I listen on-line. Up here, 90.1 is WRUV, our college alternative radio.

Wed. 10/24/07 10:50am Pamela:

Ich liebe diese Musik! Es gefaellt mir mucho!

Wed. 10/24/07 10:52am fach001:

next time please: 'Harry, hol ma die Wurst!'

Wed. 10/24/07 10:57am Andi:

@mildred: that was Mozart - Rondo alla Turca

Wed. 10/24/07 11:00am joerg:

could you leave that poor guy and his theory alone?

Wed. 10/24/07 11:01am evan:

Phil Hendrie, right?

Wed. 10/24/07 11:03am Bryant:

FMU IS BACK ON THE AIR FTW

Wed. 10/24/07 11:07am Ken:

Thanks Bryant - I would not have known if you hadn't mentioned it! Evan - Yes, that was Phil Hendrie.

Wed. 10/24/07 11:26am Sean Padilla:
