As far as the worst baseball collapses of all time: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=6764 The 2007 Mets rank 2ND all time in worst collapse. on 9/12/07 they were 98.0% to make the playoffs, or 500-1 NOT to make the playoffs. the worst collapse of all-time belongs to the 1995 Anaheim Angels, who 99.988% to make the playoffs on 8/20/95 or 8,332-1 NOT to make the playoffs. The Mets sucked, but not nearly as bad as those '95 Angels. | |
