what's that eagle's guitar hook you're looping?

Fri Jul. 13, 2007 4:56pm From: Scott

Hi GJ-Arvis - that's "The Disco Strangler", from The Long Run, which I've been suddenly shocked to rediscover has some pretty sick and great songs on it, if you like cocaine and dead teenagers, like me.

What's the tune called with the chorus "HEY YOU! You lose it, you lose it, you lose it, you.."? Gut.

great show, scott. absolutely LOVE the henry flynt.
i didn't know you had family in pgh. next time you're here drop me a line and i'll be happy to buy you several, up to and including, many beers. not just free beer, good beer!

Mon Jul. 16, 2007 10:29pm From: Scott

Hey Vilhelm, that's the amazing cover of Can's "Vitamin C" done by Big Blood - the line is actually "you're losing your Vitamin C".
Hey Raga, it's great to hear from Pittsburghers! I'll definitely look you up next time we're out - it was the "up to and including many" that really won me over. Love to visit your station too, and maybe geek out a bit on Henry Flynt. Glad you dug it.
