Hello everybody?! This information is for those who are curious about the mix "Sayaka's Choice" Billy played on the show. Anyway, I made this mix back in April for my friend Sayaka from Japan. Both our bday's are in the month May. The mix is based on her taste in music. With that being said, I didn't have a playlist for it, but I will try and describe some of the songs I played. Most of them are remixed/sprinkled with scratches and samples and what not. Most of the songs played on the "Brazilian" part was from DJ Zegon's break record called "Brazillian Export Breaks". Another song that was mixed was a song called "Rio De Janiero" by Rosalia de Souza. The "California" part was sprinkled with a variety of samples over top of Madlib's "6 Variations In The Rain" beat. That's pretty much the story behind the mix. Thanks for listening and supporting Billy Jam and WFMU. LaterZzzz!

Mon. 6/18/07 2:35pm From: WFMU listener Joe in PA

I love WFMU and Billy Jam's show is a good example of why: I just never know what I am going to hear on any given show. Usually when I think I have figured out a WFMU DJ's style - they throw me for a loop....just like this show by this WFMU DJ - keep up the great unpredictable programming WFMU!
