Doug:
Chuffed at your love of Brazilian music.
A minor matter:

O Pobre dos Dentes de Duro...
the last word s/be Ouro.
= The poor fellow with the gold teeth.
Great show, as per usual.
Have a great Easter.

Mike,
Thanks for the correction. It's kinda hard to tell the Ds from the Os on the back of this disc. Of course, that hardly explains my lousy Portuguese accent!

Nick,
Boozo and Arsenio, a match made in heaven! I adore 'em both.

Fri. 4/6/07 4:57pm From: Skylar

Doug, I just love your show. You always play my kind of music. Thank you for Amy Allison and Lucinda Williams songs.
Happy Easter

Sat. 4/7/07 10:50am From: Doug

Skylar,
Amy has a new record out that's just wonderful (as usual). Right now it's just on a Scottish label, but I think Amy will be releasing it herself in the US. Amy will be live on next Friday's show starting at 11am. I can't wait! Lucinda's new one, "West", is very moving and utterly sublime.

Mary of the wild moor,
made my day.
I got fired while hearing it.
thats a good thing

Tue. 4/10/07 12:10pm From: Doug

Nick,
Sorry you got fired, Nick. Now you've got plenty of time on your hands to listen to incredibly depressing (and breathtaking) songs like Mary of the Wild Moor.
