On the rooftops of London... er... I think I will go and get drunk now, my frontal lobes need anaesthetising ... just like Dick Van Dyke was drunk all the way through the shoot allegedly

I only heard a small portion of your show yesterday, i.e., "People Like Us" doing "On the Rooftops of London," and I was blown off the roof, so to speak.

As regards the picture at the top of this page, I think most of us are mad as hell. Unfortunately, most of us are also too impotent not to take it anymore, so I guess it's status quo for the time being.

All the best,
Fooch

Fri. 4/6/07 2:09pm From: Jeff

Great God in heaven, Ken, who put the crank in your DJ chow that morning? This show's opener is what happens when you have too *little* caffeine? I'll save a link for when I really really need to wake up, but mostly I'm glad I wasn't listening live -- it might've killed me at 9AM.

Sat. 4/7/07 8:00am From: Ken

Jeff - Caffeine withdrawl is a hard cross to bear and it has unpredictible effects. As of this show, I had downgraded my usage from 14 cups a day to 3 cups a day in only about four days. It made me kind of tense and jumpy.

Sat. 4/7/07 1:29pm From: Brian in Oregon

Ken -- they are increasingly hard to find (here in the high desert anyway), but I recommend substituting caffeinated mints for your missing 11 cups of coffee -- much easier on the stomach!

Thu. 4/12/07 9:53pm From: Ken

Thanks Brian - But that defeats the porpoise. I am trying to cut down on caffeine.
