July 13, 2005: Shackles, Chains, Manacles, and Leather Straps
A Ken v. Andy show in which each is put on trial by his children,
responds to their charges, accedes to a judgment from listener Judge Richard, and apologizes to, or accepts apologies from, his children. Andy laments the absence of music on WFMU; Ken's son Harry evades apology and declares civil war within the Freedman household; Andy's predilection for chains and leather straps in child rearing is revealed; and the children produce the best zingers, all the while alleging that the proceedings amount to a kangaroo court. Ken wins two of three trials; Andy loses all three.
