  3:58am
modern blaze:

I don't know just where I'm going
But I'm gonna try for the kingdom, if I can
'Cause it makes me feel like I'm a man
When I put a spike into my vein
And I'll tell ya, things aren't quite the same
When I'm rushing on my run
And I feel just like Jesus' son
And I guess that I just don't know
And I guess that I just don't know
I have made the big decision
I'm gonna try to nullify my life
'Cause when the blood begins to flow
When it shoots up the dropper's neck
When I'm closing in on death
And you can't help me, not you guys
Or all you sweet girls with all your sweet talk
You can all go take a walk
And I guess I just don't know
And I guess that I just don't know
I wish that I was born a thousand years ago
I wish that I'd sail the darkened seas
On a great big clipper ship
Going from this land here to that
On a sailor's suit and cap
Away from the big city
Where a man cannot be free
Of all of the evils of this town
And of himself, and those around
Oh, and I guess that I just don't know
Oh, and I guess that I just don't know
Heroin, be the death of me
Heroin, it's my wife and it's my life
Because a mainline to my vein
Leads to a center in my head
And then I'm better off than dead
Because when the smack begins to flow
I really don't care anymore
About all the Jim-Jim's in this town
And all the politicians makin' crazy sounds
And everybody puttin' everybody else down
And all the dead bodies piled up in mounds
'Cause when the smack begins to flow
Then I really don't care anymore
Ah, when the heroin is in my blood
And that blood is in my head
Then thank God that I'm good as dead
Then thank your God that I'm not aware
And thank God that I just don't care
And I guess I just don't know
And I guess I just don't know

I am trying to understand why there is one law now that says I cannot legally be consious about some important things and I can be legally consious about about some other important things. And do the people making the laws understand that there are many theories about what consciousness even is. This is really happening. Awake/asleep its bs. On a physical/emotioal/mental level the human organism requires both. I am not an expert. however this seems so basic. When I brake it down it all falls apart. thought crime/non dualisn

I read Ulysses as part of an independent study on Irish literature in college, and read it during summer break, mostly on lunch hour hanging out in the locker room with the other janitors while I had a summer job as a hospital janitor.

Finnegans Wake ..
Was in a small bookshop in Ireland and two elderly woman were wandering about - no intention of buying... seemed like they had just come from their weekly afternoon tea meet up.. They were chatting about all kinds of stuff, including the "new Cadbury" biscuit..
One said "Sure Cadbury never does anything wrong.." They happened upon a stack of Finnegans Wake and one said ".. Joyce himself didn't know what it is about.."
"At Swim Two Birds" by Flann O'Brien is another rough one ... Highly reccomend O'Brien's "Third Policeman..' especially if ya ride a bike-cycle... great couple of pages about the transfer of molecules from bike to rider and rider to bike...

Thing is do the extra work to highlight female voices. It's harder, which is exactly why it has to be done

FW so far only in small doses, a few pages at a time, but Ulysses is my favourite piece of literature, maybe apart from Stearne's Tristram Shandy.

When Ken filled in for Techtonic and interviewed Matt Taibbi (another second generation journalist like Ben Ehrenreich) I had always thought of him as a very credible investigative journalist so I started following his racket.news site. He has turned into a complete asshole singing arias to Clucker Carlson, Russiagate, Hunter Biden's laptop and all sorts of horseshit.
