Actually think of Monk as like SydBarrett - in someone not strictly NeuroNormal giving us one transparent window into an entirely other mode of perception. Art can do many things - but that's probly one of the rarest ~ most rarified...
	4:08pm Blissland: I think the Pop music genre proper came into being just incidentally in the early 70s when the styles began to diverge from actual commercial appeal. So ironically you get Pop music that's not really popular.
