↳ clarke @12:00
You have to take out the pots and move the volume knob to the tone hole and vice versa if you want the volume knob closest to your picking hand, and if they wired it with short wires you'd have some soldering to do. But if you want the tone knob closest, it's as simple as flipping the plate...unless the wires were cut short by the factory.

I never warmed up to the SG overall, but if you get the right Epiphone SG I'm sure it would be close for a fraction of the cost. I have played some below-average Epiphone Les Pauls but I own one which is a solid guitar, I'd almost call it a great players guitar that doesn't break the bank. Good Epiphones are out there, it's hit or miss. Sometimes you just have to swap out the bridge/tailpiece and some of the electronics and it's a solid playing and sounding guitar that doesn't cost thousands. I love the LP juniors too.

I've never done Record Store Day. Nearly everything sold is vinyl, and I don't own a turntable.

Yes again! Dawson's Creek, of course. I guess I meant original theme songs that were composed for the TV shows specifically, in those cases they took an existing song to use as the theme and it became a hit

I had my own RSD in Atlanta last week -- and then picked up a Numero Group 4XLP comp this week. I think I might be tapped.

No. 1 show on earbuds at a college ballgame. Especially good drowning out the bad music between innings. Would kill to see snapshots from those 70s shows on set.

As a huge Creek fan I must point out - that show had a theme for the 1st season, and the Paula Cole song was used in an episode, then (due to popularity) made the theme going forward

Speaking of the Telecaster...James Burton on his pink paisley Tele backing E. Sounds like James was playing the same open A licks he did on That's Alright Mama on that jam

Burton had this cool lick he added to it for those live Elvis shows, total Tele tone in the hands of the master. Speaking of Ricky Nelson, Burton's solo on Fools Rush In is a masterpiece. Elvis made him play it verbatim when he covered the song later
