I call them sneakers because on of the OG sneakers ran up behind me when I was moving into a previous apartment as if they belonged there. I happened to be carrying my previous cat Joe who was not pleased.

The Monkees were my gateway drug to music - watching reruns in the 1970's. I saw them in 1985 with Weird Al and then again in 2017 for my 50th birthday. My daughter and I attended Davy Jones' memorial service in Beavertown PA, where he lived for many years. The Monkees music always makes me feel nostalgic and happy.

The Monkees were my gateway drug to music - watching reruns in the 1970's. I saw them in 1985 with Weird Al and then again in 2017 for my 50th birthday. My daughter and I attended Davy Jones' memorial service in Beavertown PA, where he lived for many years. The Monkees music always makes me feel nostalgic and happy.
