They are cat-sized! A friend came over yesterday who hadn't been here in a few months and said, "Holy shit! You have jaguars!"

But they still act like kittens, that's for sure. We'll see if the nomenclature changes when they hit two years old in August.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46pm
Krys O.:

There are strays in my neighborhood who are tuxedo kitties and likely descendants of some of the tuxes that I saw when I moved here 24 years ago. I call them sneakers because on of the OG sneakers ran up behind me when I was moving into a previous apartment as if they belonged there. I happened to be carrying my previous cat Joe who was not pleased.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 1:46pm
Handy Haversack:

Calling them "the boys" seems too gender normative. Their Gormenghast name, "the Brothers Squirm," has yet to catch on widely. "The monsters" already encompasses the population of the entire lair. So I guess we'll see what develops.

I would have loved to see Michael Nesmith. My appreciation for his music has multiplied since his passing. The Monkees were my gateway drug to music - watching reruns in the 1970's. I saw them in 1985 with Weird Al and then again in 2017 for my 50th birthday. My daughter and I attended Davy Jones' memorial service in Beavertown PA, where he lived for many years. The Monkees music always makes me feel nostalgic and happy.
