George Wallace:

Jack wrote a lot if those haiku on Stanley Twardocicz' studio one drunken night in Northport, with. sumii-e brush. Stanley told me they both passed out on the floor of the studio, and when he woke up the next morning Jack was gone bad the floor was littered with haiku. He carefully gathered them up tucked them away, and many years later shared them with the world through Street Press.
