"Uncomfortable" - it's indeed a VERY '75 sound, and anything that may have been "used" around that time period. We don't know the context, who she is, who "Phil" might be...possibly in or around Chattanooga, TN, Sep 21 1975...it might be precious thoughts we normally lock inside, or she might be deluded, or Phil could be a total dominating creep who insists she send him these thoughts. It was a personal recording. If people I'm not aware of talk to each other or send recordings that way, I don't notice or care. But once that's found and we listen in, you become a voyeur, like now you're "part of" that relationship, in all it's healthy and unhealthy traits.. Why it's creepy, and also why we typically shield our intimate thoughts instead of throwing them at strangers.

Which of course, is why FMU throws it at us unsuspecting listeners over the airwaves! Shake up our day with a creep-out effect! :)
