August 17, 2004: the crazy rhythms crew gets busy
ok so this is how it goes, a bunch of explanations are needed for this program.
first on comments made:
1. the url mentioned during the theme by tom scharpling of 'the best show on wfmu' is intended for his audience
2. the thanking of god and the almighty at the end of the program was in light of the last song played. i am still an atheist.
on the dj'ing/mixing - it be easy to tell who was playing what if you listen for these giveaways... the record / mix was done by:
ocdj: the song has no place in the scheme, was thrown on in a brutal/harsh/clashing way, you can hear the next song being cued while the current one is playing, the song is played at the wrong speed not on purpose
mike simonetti: choice tunes and top shelf mixing, but through careful scrutiny and strict analysis you determine the mix was just very good as opposed to perfect, you can actually hear how warped some of the records are
dan selzer: the tunes were hot ta def and mix was completely on point, but were faulted only by the hyjinx and nonsense of the other dj(s)
ocdj's excuse: too much fucking sparks
mike's excuse: not his night(?)
dan's excuse: annoying host
