Yeah well - first thing he got published was infamously panning the MC5
...never felt it was much about agreeing with Bangs. Not that kind of Reviewer.
Rather - he was like the Hunter Thompson of RawkMusic specifically. His Writing was the most actually *like* Rawk itself. Much ( - perhaps?) as Thompson wasn't about yer conventional Journalism quite exactly...
