my first drum pedal was squeaky, and driven by a leather strap which needed replacing often. it had a lag time and i never got the hang of hitting it just before i wanted it. i've read that Ringo's drumming was/is always slightly behind time.

Very much appreciate this fill-in (as I do the rest of your shows, LD). You're a master at sanding the edges off of those pesky transients and correcting subtle mix inconsistencies so the playlist not only flows effortlessly, but sounds evenly leveled throughout. Absolutely zero volume adjusting or trim needed over here. 😘
