I saw that Owen Kline will be hosting a Halloween Hangover Radio Row on the Mothership this Sunday. Owen directed a movie called Funny Pages and there are several references to WFMU in the film and you can hear Dave the Spazz too. Owen is the son of Phoebe Cates and Kevin Kline. His sister is Frankie Cosmos. Funny Pages is really good.

The "non-Halloween" holidays really do suffer from all of the family obligations that can muddle up the enjoyment. And there's really too much crammed into that two month window. I don't think I enjoyed holidays until I could spend them without family.

The one I remember a lot, that holds up well, is Rockford Files. That is 100% comfort TV for me. The pace is perfect, just the right balance of comedy and 70's TV stars.

I took an Uber home from work tonight so I wouldn't get stuck in traffic. The driver came in a Tesla. He had to give me a lesson in how to open the freaking door from the outside and then from the inside when I was getting out. Oy vey. Is this progress?

This is very telling about Salem: there are some days, where there just aren't enough people working Uber, to get a ride home. I learned how to drive to avoid getting stuck.

My vision is so poor and so is my bank account. It's mass transit for me. I take three buses each to on my commute to and from work. Something happens in the evenings to the schedule. Buses don't show up causing me to miss connections, etc.
