Hey, Dean! Better than Whalewind, no?

Satrycon is how the band spells their name ... whether they meant Satyricon, but couldn't spell, I can't say....

Sem: Does not compute?
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 1:43pm
Sem:

Dean, it may be others repeating the misspelling, or maybe the band was just fucking w/ our heads. Example just now plucked from a search for Satrycon:
yellowpapersuns.com › 2008 › 06 › 07 › satrycon-leave-it
SATRYCON - Leave It (MOXIE) 1969 | Yellow Paper Suns
As far as Satrycon, the band, It was based in Johnstown Pa and was a trio of Guitar, drums and keyboard with keyboard bass. On this recording the Band members were Larry Faust on keyboards, George \"Butch\" Lafferty on guitar and Sam Coco on drums. Butch had the lead vocal on \"Just the Two Of Us\" and Larry was lead on \"Leave It\".
  1:47pm
Dean:

Got it, Sem. I mean, satyr + icon, pretty snazzy name.
  1:53pm
Dean:

Probable Cause? Really? If I wanted a band name with a legal angle I'd opt for Arbitrary & Capricious or Res Ipsa Loquitur.
  1:54pm
Dean:

Of course, A&C only lasted three albums, because Capricious wanted a solo career.
Avatar 1:54pm

How about "The Perpetrator"? (More cop-speak than legalese, but....)
