Lowland Scottish ballads have a different sound and were probably the biggest European influence in Appalachian music. I'm not sure I'd give them the biggest influencer slot because A. American influence is pretty integral.

I make a lot of pizzas. Usually they're pretty trad: sauce or fresh tomato, mozz, a cured meat, maybe some zucchini. I photograph each one when it comes out of the oven. One day, I'll make a gif of them, several minutes long.

@adamdoesit, so sorry to hear that (my daughter had "2 phase" illness as well, had 5 days of not too bad symptoms, pretty much a sore throat and that was it. The school she teaches at policy was return at 5 days masked if your symptoms improve (not much different than the CDC official policy), and she did just that. A few days later she was running 102-103 fevers, felt awful, and was testing positive. She's better at this point, but she still is more tired than she had been before. Seems to be not unusual with the current variants.
