No closet (yet), but it's dry. Didn't lose too much stuff. But now I'm rather disgusting, power was the sign I must take a shower (was w/o power for 32+ hours)

	🥀 ♥ 3:10pm northguineahills: i had sandbags around the doors, and kept on waking on the hour to see the water level. 4am, not even at the sidewalk, then at 5:30 a percolating sound, and looked outside, and the water level was above the sandbags. It eventually came up past the bottom of my window. It was fun schlepping my stuff out in the pouring rain and wind....(and wading through the fetid water)

	🥀 ♥ 3:16pm northguineahills: then, yesterday afternoon, i had to race back to the homeless shelter I volunteer at, as they didn't even have skeletal crew, and their grounds were even more FUBARed, and w/ 40 plus bodies lying in the cafeteria w/ water coming through the walls. Finally got a generator and jerry-rigged my laptop and phone to coordinate efforts, finally got back to my pad (w/ everything in piles) w/ no power after midnight to finally sleep....

No closet (yet), but it's dry. Didn't lose too much stuff. But now I'm rather disgusting, power was the sign I must take a shower (was w/o power for 32+ hours)

It eventually came up past the bottom of my window. It was fun schlepping my stuff out in the pouring rain and wind....(and wading through the fetid water)

Finally got a generator and jerry-rigged my laptop and phone to coordinate efforts, finally got back to my pad (w/ everything in piles) w/ no power after midnight to finally sleep....
