My bride's side of the family has self-published at least 3 books on family history, the shortest of which is about 100 pages.

I'd love to see someone manage to send in the same sample twice and see how different the results are. Because delivering accurate information is not the business model. Selling DNA info is. They are nasty companies that should be heavily regulated and entirely firewalled from law enforcement, insurance, and other industries. Of course, at this point, enough of us have had a cousin or someone do them that the cat is pretty much out of the genetic bag. We just don't have the money to access our own genetic info. But don't worry -- someone has.

I'd love to see someone manage to send in the same sample twice and see how different the results are. Because delivering accurate information is not the business model. Selling DNA info is. Of course, at this point, enough of us have had a cousin or someone do them that the cat is pretty much out of the genetic bag. We just don't have the money to access our own genetic info.
