	🥁 ♥ 10:09am Zipperhead7: Not to be grim, but when my wife was dying of ALS 12 years ago i wanted to make a mix CD for her. So we went through every CD we had, and she dinged like Hector Salamanca when I hit one of her favorites. After that round we went through those CDs and she dinged when I got to the favorite song on that CD. Ended up with two CDs of tracks (many of which she learned of from Doug's show!). She had quite a sense of humor --last track was "Down in the Ground Where the Dead Men Go" by the Pogues. So I made copies of the mix and gave them to all of our friends.
	♥ 10:10am TDK60: Hello Brian in UK. Where is WOMAD usually held? I also see that Fairport Convention has resumed its festival for the first time since '19. It's on right now. A report on their festival site says the heat wave is dangerous, to not build fires/cook at the fest.
	🥁 ♥ 10:11am Brian in UK: I recently reached the three score & ten. An old friend did so last March. We both wrote to each other at the time & expressed how much our friendship was worth. Why do we wait until people pass before the latent love is shown.

	♥ 10:20am Doug Schulkind: Full disclosure. That wasn't the only steel drum you will hear this set. Bethany is thrilled to have a four-hour slot. She plays so many long pieces, and this slot will give her time to fit more in that she usually has to work with.

So we went through every CD we had, and she dinged like Hector Salamanca when I hit one of her favorites. After that round we went through those CDs and she dinged when I got to the favorite song on that CD. Ended up with two CDs of tracks (many of which she learned of from Doug's show!). She had quite a sense of humor --last track was "Down in the Ground Where the Dead Men Go" by the Pogues. So I made copies of the mix and gave them to all of our friends.
	♥ 10:10am TDK60: Hello Brian in UK. Where is WOMAD usually held? I also see that Fairport Convention has resumed its festival for the first time since '19. It's on right now. A report on their festival site says the heat wave is dangerous, to not build fires/cook at the fest.
