When I ran karaoke for a bar in Portland, there was a regular customer who would come in, and request, "99 Red Balloons," would NOT LOOK AT THE SCREEN, and belt out a perfect german version. It always killed.

On New Year's Eve one year, I tipped her, it was so good.

There were a few of those. I remember on regular, who brought in his own discs because we didn't have any country music, would change the words to the songs to make them dirtier. It was sort of entertaining, but the charm wore off week after week.

I recall another gentleman who was amusing, because he always sang Ben Folds songs, and he always sang them very badly. There was something about a guy, by himself, badly singing these very sad songs at a karaoke bar, that secretly amused me.
