My friends and I missed the bus one day when I was 6, living in Syracuse (in the city) and we decided to walk to school. Two miles. We stopped and are out lunch after about a half-mile, the got hungry again and stopped and stole some candy. I still feel guilty about it. My dad came along after another half-mile, panicked. The school called the parents to tell them we'd never arrived at school. I don't know who figured out that we'd walked.

I stole a LP from Rodney Bingenhiemer while he was DJing at the Starwood in Hollywood. I crawled under his DJ booth, and came in from the back. He was 18 inches from me.
